Meet Dr. Van Kooten
Dr. Patricia Van Kooten has been providing top-quality general and cosmetic dentistry services to Northern Californians for over two decades. At her practice, Lighthouse Family Dentistry located in Monterey, California, Dr. Van Kooten treats adults, adolescents, and children in a uniquely warm and welcoming environment.
She offers a broad scope of services including: teeth whitening, crowns, bridges, and veneers, dental implants, and of course, routine cleanings.
Dr. Van Kooten takes great pride in restoring her patients’ smiles so that they want to show them off. Patient comfort is also a priority at Lighthouse Family Dentistry. Dr. Van Kooten attended Loyola University New Orleans and received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She has since furthered her education with advanced courses in full mouth reconstruction, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontic dentistry.
For over 30 years, Dr. Van Kooten has been a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and over 10 years with Monterey County Dental Society.
